When Loneliness Hits Your Business

There comes a time when your business grows, when loneliness becomes your friend.

You have changed. Your business has changed. Your business has changed you.

You are not who you used to be.

You have taken your life into your own hands.

You have made investments into your future, into learning what you don’t know how to do, into getting help and support.

You business starts to become visible to others, and it might confuse them.

Who are you and what do you do?

When the changes you make become visible to others is also the time when you are not really sure if it will all work out.

You can’t deny that something is happening, but you don’t feel safe yet.

You have your first paying clients and can prove how brilliant you are, but you don’t know what to do when their contracts expire.

You have done and invested too much into your future to ever be able to go back to the life before you had a business.

But at the same time, you sometimes wonder if you were nuts to even think that you have what it takes to be successful.

This is a lonely time, and everybody goes through it.

Letting go of the old life causes grief and fear, and you might by now still be surrounded by people who are you telling you that going out on your own is not a good idea.

You can’t share with them how you feel, because you already know what they will say.

You need help and support.

But where will you find it?

Where will you find those strong, independent people who are glad to support you?

Where will you find people who understand when you feel vulnerable and overwhelmed?

Where will you find people who aren’t jealous but genuinely proud of you and celebrate with you?

Where will you find people who can become your new tribe?

It is so important that youFinding a new community as you are going through the changes is crucial for your success.

They will give you a place called home, where you can explore your first steps as an entrepreneur.

They will celebrate with you.

They will encourage you when you feel lonely.

They will understand that you have to leave to teach a tele class or see a client.

They understand that it can be hard to get your newsletter out or work on your business plan.

They know the triumph you feel when a client says yes.

And how down you are when a client says no.

They get you.

And you get support, as you grow with your business.

Feeling lonely as your business grows is a normal and natural part of evolution into the entrepreneur that you can be.

Letting go of the old and not really feeling secure in the new is what is causing this problem.

Just keep walking, one foot in front of the other, one step at a time, and surround yourself with like minded people who get you, encourage you, respect and love you along the way.

Having a Mastermind during times of loneliness is just that community of like minded business people who are willing to take the next steps together.
